Two suspects; Nonso Ezike, younger brother to one of the alleged killers Olisaeloka, and Ezeaka Chinonso arrested in connection with Cynthia’s murder, was on Wednesday granted bail by a Yaba Chief Magistrate Court.
The two suspects arraigned for receiving and selling Cynthia’s phone were granted bail in the sum of N500,000 each with two sureties in like sum after the Magistrate, Mr. P.A. Adekomaya, admitted that the offences were bailable.
The third accused person, Gideon Okechukwu, a driver, charged with eight counts of murder, rape, robbery, conspiracy, administering a harmful substance to the deceased among others, was denied bail, and remanded in Ikoyi prison.
The case was adjourned till October 3, 2012.
