Porn Masturbation

I believe that the primary function of pornography is to facilitate masturbation. I ran across a reference to an article in a journal called “Sexuality and Culture” recently. I could only read the abstract as I do not have access to this journal and would certainly not pay the $39.95 they publisher is asking for it. But the abstract was good enough for me. The abstract for “Masculinity, Pornography, and the History of Masturbation” states “This article takes as its starting point the observation that contemporary pornography is, in a significant sense, about masturbation. This connection has been largely ignored in recent research on pornography.” I couldn't agree more. I've noted that on sites that have porn and allow comments that a lot of guys talk about the woman's looks or say that they'd like to have sex with them. Who wouldn't? But when I see a pic of a beautiful naked women I grab my dick and start stroking (unless, of course, I'm already doing it). How many people looking at porn on-line don't touch themselves? And how many of these poor horny individuals stop right there? It's true that the female body is a thing of beauty. I look at women when I am in public and can't masturbate. And I suppose that if I somehow couldn't masturbate that I would still look at porn. Ogling naked women is inherently pleasurable, at least for me.
